Hit And Run

A 26-year-old pregnant woman was injured after being allegedly hit by a car in which actress Nisha Kothari was travelling at the Mumbai domestic airport on 02 Jan 2008 morning, police said.

Heena Jamtani was hit by Nisha’s car while she was alighting from an auto rickshaw at the airport, they said. The police are yet to register an offence in connection with the incident as the investigating officer in the case was helping Jamtani in getting admitted, a senior police officer from the Santacruz airport police station said. Meanwhile, the family has said that this is not a case of hit-and-run as Nisha’s driver attended to the victim and took her to the hospital. The driver also left Nisha’s number with the hospital authorities.
